GECCO and Whitestack have announced a strategic partnership to deliver a unified Cloud-to-Edge infrastructure that integrates GECCO’s rugged, low-power Edge Computing Appliance with Whitestack’s Telco Cloud software platform. This joint architecture provides a ready-to-deploy, multi-cluster edge management solution based on Kubernetes, engineered to support demanding IT and telecommunications workloads while ensuring operational continuity in the most hostile, mission-critical environments.
The unified solution integrates the strengths of both companies to resolve the complexity of decentralized data processing through two core components:
GECCO’s Edge Computing Appliance brings together data processing, data management, and networking for edge-optimized workloads in adverse operational environments. Purpose-built to withstand harsh conditions, this solution reduces size, weight, power, and cooling demands by over 75% compared to conventional rack-mount IT equipment. Its modular design eliminates wiring errors resulting in a direct reduction in training, operations, and maintenance costs.
Whitestack Telco Cloud: a solution that allows operators and large enterprises to deploy an on-premise private cloud with total control of the infrastructure, from the physical components to the orchestration of network functions. The suite utilizes innovative open technologies that interoperate with each other, significantly lowering the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and making smarter infrastructure investments possible.
The result of this collaboration is a ready-to-use and ready-to-deploy multi-cluster edge management platform based on Kubernetes. During validation testing, the solution successfully demonstrated centralized management capabilities across distributed clusters, maintaining total visibility into the health and performance of both physical infrastructure and application workloads.

Operational visibility is driven by an open-source observability stack composed of Prometheus and Grafana. This framework provides comprehensive monitoring capabilities by collecting, storing, and visualizing infrastructure and application metrics directly from the managed clusters. Through unified dashboards, the solution enables real-time operational visibility, facilitating detailed analysis of resource utilization, cluster health, and telemetry data.

Additionally, to certify the system’s resilience under heavy traffic conditions, an MQTT-based telemetry platform successfully demonstrated end-to-end data collection and processing workflows.
Within this validation environment, simulated IoT devices generated constant temperature and pressure measurements that were transported through the MQTT broker, processed by the telemetry application, and exposed as metrics to the observability platform. This validated the integration between edge applications, messaging services, and monitoring components.
